I am a versatile jazz and classical trumpet player, as well as an experienced piano accompanist, specialising in musical theatre and jazz. With over 25 years of trumpet playing and 30 years of piano, I have developed a broad and dynamic performance career across multiple genres.
I have performed in both the UK and China with the Amadeus Orchestra and the British Symphony Orchestra, and continue to appear regularly on stages across the UK. As a jazz musician, I thrive in both improvisational and ensemble settings, bringing energy, creativity, and a deep understanding of the jazz tradition to every performance.
As a piano accompanist, I specialise in working with musical theatre vocalists, ensuring stylistic authenticity and expressive collaboration. Whether performing in concert halls, jazz clubs, or theatre productions, I am passionate about delivering engaging and expressive performances that connect with audiences.

About Me
Pianist, Trumpet Player, and Music Educator
I am a dedicated musician and educator with a BA in Music from Oxford Brookes University and an MA in Composition from the University of Chichester. With over 30 years of piano and 25 years of trumpet playing, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my teaching.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of touring both the UK and China with the Amadeus Orchestra and the British Symphony Orchestra, and I continue to perform regularly across the UK. My passion for music extends beyond performance; I am committed to helping students develop their skills, confidence, and love for music.
I offer tailored piano and trumpet lessons to students of all levels, whether they are preparing for exams (with a proven track record of great results), performances, or simply learning for enjoyment. My teaching approach balances technical excellence, musicality, and creativity, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential in an engaging and supportive environment.
